Education

The ASTRE unit is strongly involved in the transmission of knowledge through the supervision of Masters and PhD students, the supervision of internships, and a wide range of training courses (diploma, modular and digital) supported by a joint CIRAD-FVI (France Vétérinaire International) platform of Training in livestock breeding and animal health in the South.

    As part of their research work, ASTRE agents supervise many PhD candidates in fields covering a wide variety of disciplines (ecology, entomology, epidemiology, microbiology, immunology, geography, socio-economics, anthropology, etc.).
