Quality, Safety, Security and Environment programme

Since 2004, the unit has opted for a quality management system whose purpose is to establish a continuous improvement process in both its organisation and the execution of all its services, while also integrating the safety, security and environmental aspects of its work.

Our quality policy is focused on the satisfaction of our customers and our partners with a constant concern for excellence and the traceability of all our services.

Quality policy and accreditations

Since 2010, the unit has been accredited by the French Accreditation Committee (COFRAC) according to the ISO/IEC 17025 standard, ‘General requirements for the competence of testing and calibration laboratories’. Through this official recognition we aim to ensure the full confidence of our funders, partners and clients in our national and international reference activities and, more broadly, in our analytical research activities.

These accreditations attest to the competence of our laboratories at the national, European and international levels and to an effective and efficient quality management system. This recognition guarantees all our customers reliable analytical results as soon as possible.

Safety, bio-security and bio-safety for the protection of people, property and the environment

In order to ensure the safety of staff and the environment, and in accordance with the regulations, we take care to control the risks associated with all our activities. In particular, this involves strict management of biological and chemical products, their associated waste and premises, as well as information and communication to all permanent and hosted staff.

The unit’s practices were inspected by the National Agency for the Safety of Medicines and Health Products (ANSM) in 2017.

This approach is part of an overall policy that takes into account the challenges of sustainable development, constantly evolving regulations and the integration of risk management.
